Home Introduction
SME Global Alliance

SME Global Alliance in 2025 will continue to use "Marching together in the Greater Bay Area, then Moving On to the Belt & Road, from ASEAN to North Africa, and estalishing bases to enter European Union" as a motto to organize activities for SMEs to grow. We believe that through cooperation, SMEs can become stronger. We can collaborate to make ourselves and even the world to become more prosperous and sustainable. Hence, SME Global Alliance in 2024 set up an office at ShenZhen QianHai in order to connect with the more mature SMEs in mainland. We also progressively signed cooperation agreements and launched specific substantial projects with JiangMen city, LuoWu district, ZhaoQing DuanZhou, Macau & eBRAM International Online Dispute Resolution Centre. Earlier, we signed a cooperative agreement with the International Dispute Resolution and Risk Management Institute in order to train up SMEs on International Mediation & Arbitration Matters too. We have also joined the ESG Sustainable Grand Alliance, iRecycle (subsidiary of Baguio Green Group 1397.HK) Recycling Award program, and the SDG World Records campaign, proactively participating & promoting Environmental Protection activities. Moreover, as innovations such as Metaverse, Web3, BlockChain, NFT, and so on are helpful for SMEs to build new ecosystem for their growth & development, we are openly endorsing them. Finally, we shall continue to evolve the SME Innovation Award into various cities of the Greater Bay Area and later the ASEAN countries. Our solid network in GBA includes ShenZhen - Futian, LuoWu, LongHua & LongGang, GuangZhou, FoShan, DongGuan, JiangMen, ZhaoQing, and Macau. We also realized that it is too narrow for the HK youths to develop their career in only FinTech and PropTech. If we could extend the industry development to ManuMarTech, i.e., Tech for Manufacturing & Marketing, and to cope with the GBA strategies, there will be a brighter future. Hence, we have added "Make in mainland, Brand in HK" into our motto. We have also set up strategic partnership in some Asian countries, including Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Philippines and Indonesia.

SME Global Alliance welcomes you to join this big family to progress together in phase.

Top wishes for the new era, online offline join hand in hand, society becomes healthy & wealthy, world in peace with carbon-neutrality

Distinguished Guests of Honour, Ladies & Gentlemen,

It is our pleasure & honour to welcome you to the Awards Ceremony of the HK SZ SME Innovation Award 2018. SME Global Alliance has always encouraged SMEs to make good use of the latest technologies to innovate, to expand markets, and to enhance quality and efficiency. Based on the outstanding result of last year’s HK SZ SME Innovation Award, we persevere and continue to extend our influence in Shenzhen. With the continuous support of the Futian government, sponsorship from the Centaline Property Agency & Dah Sing Bank, together with the assistance of various supporting organizations, we have successfully conducted the assessment, and hopefully will bring the competition to yet another higher level. This year’s theme is still “HK SZ go hand in hand to build the future. Marching in GBA to move on OBOR" where GBA is the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, HK & Macau, and OBOR is the One Belt One Road initiative. Through this contest, we want the participants from both HK & SZ to learn from each other and to share their experience in innovation, in order to increase their chance of cooperation. This year, we have conducted the final contest in the SZ High-Tech Fair. Again, we have invited many potential investors, commercial counselors of various countries, executives of co-working spaces, and so on to attend this Awards Ceremony held during the HK Trade Development Council International SmartBiz Expo.

A lot of people have started to care about the SME Innovation Award 2019. As the slogan is to march in the Greater Bay Area, we hope that more government departments in mainland will discuss further with us to extend the Innovation Award to other parts of the Guangdong province. Moreover, with the continuous support of members & friends on innovation, we can move on along the One Belt One Road!

Yours sincerely,

Jefferson WAT

President of SME Global Alliance
